Museet 1, Visby
Museet 1, the house south of the entrance to the yard in the block of the historical museum, 'Gotlands Fornsal'.
Joists of the floor in the two lower storeys are preserved. They can be seen from two of the exhibition halls. Like at G:a Apoteket the wall-head beams rest on stone braces, and an upright planking has divided the room into two parts. The supporting beams in the middle, those with grooves along the lower side are rather heavy, they measure 230x285 mm in cross-section.
Two joists with waney edge date the timber of the floor. The outermost annual ring is dated 1276.
