Söne
Söne, south-east of Lake Vänern, is built of freestone. Its square chancel is exceptionally spacious, the floor measures 4.4x5.1 m. One significant detail is the small aperture with a column in the middle, which allows day-light to get into the present attic of the chancel. Preserved medieval wall-plates in the nave and the chancel have a slightly simplified shape as the medial corbelling is missing.
The felling year of the timber is within the period 1197 - 1199 and dates the building of the church.
