Ardre, Gotland

About 75 m SW of the church of Ardre stones forming a square of 8.2x8.6 m are in the ground. The outer area is about 70 sq. m and inner area about 46 sq. m. The site was investigated in 1960 by E. Lagerlöf. According to a drawing we can presume a building with walls of the thickness 1.6 m and a ground entrance facing south.
